Pulsevis
For general retail counters

Retail POS Software

One counter, any product mix.

Most shops do not fit a category neatly. Pulsevis does not ask you to pick one: put anything in the catalog, scan it, price it and sell it, and get a straight answer at closing on what the day actually earned.

A day on the floor

Three loops every shop runs.

Whatever you sell, the shape of the day is the same: move goods over the counter, keep the catalog honest, and find out at close whether it was worth opening.

Sell whatever is on the shelf

One catalog for every category you carry, with barcodes, units and prices per line. Scan it or search a partial name and it is in the basket.

Margin, not just takings

Cost sits on every line, so the day's report shows what you actually made rather than what came through the drawer.

Staff on the counter, not in the books

Each person signs in as themselves. What they can discount, refund or edit is yours to decide, and every sensitive action is logged.

Why shops move over

The parts that a cash drawer never gave you.

None of this is exotic. It is the handful of things that turn a till into something you can actually run a shop from.

Categories, brands and units

Organise the catalog the way your floor is organised, and filter reports the same way afterwards.

Print your own labels

On Premium, generate a barcode for anything that arrived without one, then print a label for the shelf.

Returns and exchanges

Pull up the original bill, take back what is coming back, and settle the difference in either direction.

Customers and their history

A phone number, a purchase history and points that build with every visit — enough to recognise a regular.

Reports by day, product and category

Takings, discounts given, sales by product and category, and the stock that has not moved in 30 days.

Backups you hold

Your sales and stock sit on your own machine. Back them up to a USB stick or a folder you choose, whenever you like.

What the day actually earned.

Takings tell you what came in. Cost on every line tells you what stayed.

  • Gross and net sales with discounts shown separately
  • Profit and margin worked out from unit cost
  • Collections split across cash, card and online
  • Sales by product, beside the stock that has not moved
  • Export the sales report to CSV for your accountant
See the reports in each plan

Hand over the counter, not the books.

Someone else can run the shop on Sunday without seeing what it makes.

  • Owner, manager and cashier roles with per-person overrides
  • PIN or password sign-in for everyone on the floor
  • Open and close a register against a counted float
  • An activity log for sales, refunds and product edits
  • Reports a cashier simply cannot open

Retail FAQ

Questions shop owners ask first.

Still have a question? Email support@pulsevis.com — we answer within hours.

My shop sells a bit of everything. Is that a problem?

It is the normal case. There is no fixed product type — put groceries, gifts, stationery and hardware in the same catalog, organise them with categories, and sell them from one screen.

Do I need a barcode scanner to start?

No. You can search a product by partial name or barcode, or tap it from a tile. Scanning straight into the sale is on Premium: use a USB scanner set to keyboard mode that sends Enter after each scan, or the PC's webcam.

Can I see how much profit I actually made?

Yes, as long as you enter a cost price when stock comes in. The reports then show margin per line and for the day as a whole, not just takings.

Can staff use it without seeing my numbers?

Yes. Roles decide what each person can open and do — a cashier can ring up sales and take returns without ever reaching a profit report.

What if the internet goes down mid-sale?

Nothing stops. The app runs on your own PC and keeps billing. The internet is needed to download and update Pulsevis, to activate Premium or add a computer, and for Premium's automatic sync, which catches up once you are back online.

What does it cost?

There is a free trial with no card required, plus a Premium plan that lifts the trial's limits. The pricing section on the home page carries the current figures.
