Pulsevis
For kiryana, mart and supermarket counters

Grocery & Supermarket POS Software

Scan it, bill it, restock it — offline.

Grocery is a volume trade on thin margins. Pulsevis keeps the queue moving from the PC in your shop, flags the lines about to run dry or turn, and never waits on your connection to ring up a sale.

A day at the counter

Three loops that run all day.

Selling is only a third of the job. Stock has to stay honest and the till has to balance, every trading day, or the month does not add up.

Billing that keeps pace

Scan or tap through a full trolley without a stutter, settle across cash, card and online, and hand over a printed receipt.

Stock that counts itself

Every sale takes stock down. Every delivery records what arrived, from whom and at what cost — so the catalog never drifts from the shelf.

A till that balances

Count the drawer at the end of a shift and see the opening float, the expected cash, the actual count and any difference side by side.

Where the margin goes

The small leaks that decide your month.

Grocery margin rarely disappears in one big loss. It goes on stock that turned, a shelf that emptied and a till that came up short. Each of these closes one of those gaps.

Loose goods, packed and labelled

Pack flour, pulses and sugar by weight in the back, give each pack size its own barcode, and print the labels — so the counter only ever scans.

Bring the whole catalog in

Thousands of lines from a CSV file in a single pass, with barcodes, costs, prices and reorder levels already attached.

Warnings before write-off

Aging stock surfaces while it can still be discounted or moved, rather than turning up in a loss column at the month's end.

Reorder points per line

A threshold on the product that actually turns over, instead of one number stretched across the whole shop.

Vendors on every delivery

Record each stock-in against the vendor and its cost, and attach the supplier's bill so the paperwork stays with the stock.

Several tills, one picture

Counters in the same shop share a single catalog and roll up into one view of sales, stock and margin.

Every shelf, on one screen.

The product list is the back office. Open it and the state of the shop is already there.

  • Batch number and expiry date held against each delivery
  • Expired stock written off against the batch it came from
  • Generate barcodes and print labels for repacked goods on Premium
  • Stock-in records per product, with write-offs listed separately
  • Filter the catalog by category, vendor or aging stock

Queue at 6pm? Handled.

The till is the one screen that cannot stutter. It runs on the PC in front of you, not on your connection.

  • Scan on Premium with a USB scanner in keyboard mode, or a webcam
  • Hold a basket, serve the next customer, resume it after
  • Returns and exchanges against the original bill
  • Thermal receipts at 58 or 80 mm through the Windows printer driver
  • Keeps billing through an outage and catches up after

Grocery FAQ

Questions grocery owners ask first.

Still have a question? Email support@pulsevis.com — we answer within hours.

Is it overkill for a small kiryana shop?

No. A single counter with a few hundred lines runs the same app as a supermarket with several tills — you switch on only the parts you need and ignore the rest.

Can I sell loose goods like rice and pulses?

Yes, as packed lines. Pack them by weight — 1 kg, 5 kg — give each pack size its own product and barcode, and print labels for them. Pulsevis does not connect to an electronic weighing scale, and quantities at the till are whole units.

Can I bring my product list over from a spreadsheet?

Yes — save it as a CSV file and import it at setup or any time after, carrying barcodes, costs, prices and reorder levels in the same pass.

What happens as stock nears its expiry date?

Each delivery is recorded with its batch number and expiry date. Stock is flagged while it is still sellable so you can discount or move it, and the earliest-expiring batch always goes out first.

Will the counter keep working if the internet drops?

Yes. Billing, stock and receipts run on the PC in your shop. The internet is needed to download and update Pulsevis, to activate Premium or add a computer, and for Premium's automatic sync, which catches up once you are back online.

What does it cost?

There is a free trial with no card required, plus a Premium plan that lifts the trial's limits. The pricing section on the home page carries the current figures.
